A Rice Lake Staple for Four Decades
Midwest Harvest Hills sits on 37 acres in Rice Lake, Wisconsin — a place with roughly 40 years of community history as the beloved Mommsen's. Generations of families picked their pumpkins here, wandered the orchard rows, and made this farm part of their fall tradition.
In January 2025, Jackie Dibble and her fiancé Mike took the reins. What started as a well-loved local tradition is now growing into a full seasonal destination: fall family fun, summer events, and weddings — all rooted in the same small-town, come-as-you-are spirit that made this place special in the first place.
The Perfect Fit
Jackie grew up in Turtle Lake, not too far down the road, and dreamed of running a place like this for a long time. Mike is a farm boy through and through — he still tells stories of carrying milk pails when he was barely strong enough to lift them. When the chance came to take on this farm, it was the perfect fit for the two of them.

The Crew Behind the Farm
Charlea, Arianna, Julie, and Olivia keep things running — and Dale brings more than 30 years of history with this property, having been part of it long before the new chapter began. This summer, Payton joins the team for Little Harvesters Day Camp. And of course, the petting zoo crew: pigs, goats, and friends who take their jobs very seriously — mostly the snack-receiving part.
